Hi...This is Devyani. I am a 25 year old working woman from San Diego, California. Well when i shifted from India to US 3 years back i came out of the culture and buy i do not know why I feel that the relationship culture between a man and woman was more conserved and pious in the Indian culture. I am be 100% wrong.. So not sure...is it true ?? Very eager to know..

indeed there are cultural differences and perception, what u consider pious may not be with others...

the most important thing is to be flexible and tolerance..

Going to depend on the man op and in America their are many different kinds of personality's and ways ... why did I think in India men have more then one wife ... that culture is fine doing that becouse its their way ... but in the USA taking many wife's is bigamy ...

Very interesting comment. I believe that the general attitude of many in the Americas is a culture of materialism. Therefore money dictates all. Men are as important as his ability to contribute to a woman's financial need/want.with more women earning and less men earning as well as more women earning more than men, the value of the relationship has changed, maybe devalued. So men can no longer satisfy the needs/wants of multiple women and women now only need a No string attached relationship
