Topic: ever met a famous person? | |

When I was like 10, I got to meet and hangout with Bret the Hitman Hart for the night after a wrestling show. He was a really cool guy and I have tons of pictures with him.
A few years ago I won a radio contest to hang out with one of my favorite bands (AFI) for a weekend while they were on tour. Spent the weekend with Davey Havok and I am pretty sure I was gay for the whole time as I had a huge man crush on him. |

Some years ago I was in Spain with a group of Texans. We were having dinner at a nice restaurant and the waiter noted "Julio Iglesies is having dinner in the room next door." I told the waiter "Send him a bottle of Champagne with our compliments!" A little while later, here comes Julio who visited, chatted, and hugged all the women in our party. I tried to sneak out of the restaurant but Julio ran across the middle of the room and grabbed me before I could get out (literally) so I could have my picture taken with him (I didn't want my picture taken with him).
I don't much care for his music but he is truly a nice person. |

Not met (got no time to introduce myself, I can only wish LOL) but just saw him so close to me, like one feet apart and was able to touched his hand. Was screaming in front of him
Man's name was Michael Jackson :) |

Several. Seldom are they interesting. Most are mundane.

I was on the design team to build Prince Fasil of Saudi Arabia a new home in Houston next to Buffalo Bayou. He threw a party for us and was quite proud to show us the trees he had planted along the bottom of the bayou. I whispered to the Architect "He doesn't know all those trees are going to wash away the first time it rains?" He whispered back, "He's from the desert."

I met George Clooney a couple of years back at a charity event...
we started chatting about the charity and then some old movies... I even got him to laugh especially when I mentioned he should make an Ocean's 12 and include me... I asked him what he was working on and he said it's "Up in the Air" did't realize he meant the movie...which is really my favorite movie of his... |
