California...a lot of rich, ignorant snobs...at least in the Bay Area.

I tend to consider anyone out of state no more than friends. I take into acct my willingness to move which right now is zero. You might consider that condition when you decide.

Say get a grip. This topic is going to be deleted because some girl says a guy likes her from CA...and when she is in New York City? Call the Picante Hot Sauce Brigade on this one.

I just voted to NOT delete this thread. People are drunk with power over this deletion stuff. I say get rid of it and let the threads stand. If a topic is really offensive, just report it to Mike and Van. Then it can be taken care of. Too many threads are being deleted, usually because someone on here doesn't like the person who started it.

quietandthoughtful: "California...a lot of rich, ignorant snobs...at least in the Bay Area."
Oh man, please do not generalize like that. I won't defend this area, because I totally get the reputation and image that people have of Californians, but it's my home and I love it here, so forgive me if what you wrote rubs me the wrong way. Anyway...regarding distance... You all need to cultivate the friendship and get to know the person before you start thinking about the longer term. Don't get all hung up over distance or circumstances. If the right person comes along it will be a no brainer to make some sacrifices. |
