I've never seen the film, but I've read a few Jack Reacher novels, only because they were given to me as presents. This guy is every middle aged man's fantasy. Free as a bird.

Nah mate. That's just living like a young guy with no responsibilities. I'm doing that now and been doing it for years and that's not my fantasy. Relationships can be like you say and what I've found as a middle aged guy is that if you don't want the nagging and them treating you like they're your mother you date younger women. I have literally got down on my hands and knees scrubbing carpets to try to make older women happy and they still weren't satisfied but whenever I've had young ladies round here and said sorry about the state of the place they've just said that they aren't bothered about it and I'm not talking about skanks here.
