Dated 3 ....on another dating site...all were long term for about a year each when i first started dating on line....

They were all ummm a little too much for since i just got out of a divorce....

Been in a relationship now we met online....known him for 7 months...we broke up for two months because i was still mingling..
.got back 2 months ago and we are back on track...i almost fouled the best thing that ever happened to me....but he waited....and now we are where we should be.....an amazing journey indeed....

Still hoping to have one..

I started this conversation because it seems to be difficult to meet quality men - or just one - in Auckland, New Zealand. I moved here from CA, years ago, but it wasn't easy in CA either - for mid age people. However, education level was very high in the Bay Area, CA, I guess - but I hope I am wrong, and I hope I meet some quality men, any age, for friendship - and if one happens to be a life-partner, great!

I haven't met anyone from Mingle2 yet. Chances are, I probably won't as it seems anyone I'd be interested in are too far away.

I have had some success you could say with using an online dating site. I met my last girlfriend online and our relationship had lasted a lil over 3 years and that was my longest lasting relationship. Unfortunately things just didn't work out for the long haul.
