Topic: this is who I am! | |
---|---|
Ever since I've joined I have projected the wrong image of who I am and what I am about.
1. I am NOT a sexual pervert or a womanizer. 2. I have portrayed the wrong image of myself as always wanting sex. trying to attract women who wanted sex. Thinking that I can somehow change them into a woman that I will want to live with. 3. Cussing and being vile in general. 4. Not proffesing my faith in Jesus and letting my "walking do the talking". The old lonelyman is no more. |

Good for you my friend it is always important to be true to yourself. It is truly freeing to look in the mirror and realize who you are and to be who you are. God bless you Lonelyman.

bro, plenty of people (both genders) use the internet to hide who they really are. some do it with intent to deceive, some do it just because their reality is too hard to deal with but mean no real harm. such is life on the world wide web
i'm not sure what compelled you to post this, but i'm sure it takes guts to put yourself out there and let the world see your vulnerability. or maybe this is a strange attempt to attract attention. only you know your true motives my advise is always be yourself. online or off, every lie or deceit eventually comes to light. if you manage to start a relationship built on a lie, the end result will be the end of such a relationship. being yourself wont get you a line of women taking numbers waiting for their chance to get with you. i guarantee i guarantee that being yourself will get you the one woman who will get out of the line for a brad pitt for the chance to stay with you. the waiting is the hard part, but it will be worth the wait. godspeed, bulldog (bulldog double guarantee - patent pending) |

Good for you my friend it is always important to be true to yourself. It is truly freeing to look in the mirror and realize who you are and to be who you are. God bless you Lonelyman. Definitely, because as long as YOU know who you are, the rest doesn't matter. Never put on airs or graces just to impress, because if it's not the real you, why are you bothering to pretend? Is anyone so impressive, that you'd feel a need to be someone you're not? Changing your character for someone you may never end up with anyway=Not good. But this is refreshing to see. Someone willing to admit he wasn't what he seemed. I admire you for that, Lonelyman. This shows you can accept when you've made a mistake. Keep trucking, brother |

Thanks everyone. Let me go a little deeper.
I was looking to hook up because I thought that any woman's company was better than no company at all. Yes I'm still Lonely. Ask any woman that i've spent any time talking to and they will tell you, the true me always came out. Emo, that is sooo 70's with the trucking statement! You are pretty groovy! |

hold on here, are you saying there is something wrong with being a pervert? My thoughts exactly. lol you guys what my personal reality tells me is that sometimes we can joke and goof around online and it can leave the wrong impression with others - maybe the folk who don't really talk to us that much.....I know I do that and some people probably think the wrong things because tone cannot be typed. |

Exactly sweetest!

Exactly sweetest! I guess the difference is that I don;t really care....now there I go again prolly giving the wrong impression. lol Let's just say that I know my friends know how I am and the rest I can;t worry about. I would not, do not, feel a need to apologize for who I have been, either on or off line...I guess that's where we are different. I like to goof around on here and that IS part of who I am. Who I am when I am not here is pretty much the same. But as I have said on other threads, I am probably a quieter person than the impression I leave on here. good luck lonelyman |
