wouldnt it be strangely ironic though

remembering all those tacky chants of 'bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb iran'
precisely, I cant recall Iran using agent orange on their own nor on Iraqis during that conflict, yet the US did use it in Vietnam in which it effected US soldiers. In fact, the US used depleted uranium bombs on Iraqi insurgents for 13 years.

Americans are not only hypocrites, but also have selective memory.

where one lives does not define truth.

I simply meant that if you think Americans are hypocrites then you're obviously not happy there. So why even live there.
At least your relatively free to speak your mind, unlike some Countries I could mention.
Oh and by the way, I'm not taking sides here. For instance, I believe what has been going on in Palestine for years is shocking beyone belief. If I could stop it I would and let the people live in peace. That's all most of us want, nothing more, nothing less, just simple peace and the right to live our lives without fear.

Wrong, happiness has nothing to do with it. Hypocracy should always be exposed and critiqued. Im sure there are hypocrites where you live, will you leave?
As for being free to speak ones mind, that's also bull, there are repucussions to what one says here as well.

finally, speaking truth does not define the state of contentment. Just because I achknowledge my countries hypocracy doesn't convey happiness or otherwise, it simply means my country are hypocrits.

there is nothing to talk about, i have no fear in speaking truth, even if its in regard to my country. simple as that.


Then you shouldn't have a problem quoting sources to back up your claims ... simple as that.
