....Impressions huh? Well my take on first impressions is they are one of the hardest obstacles to overcome when meeting someone. As soon as the first thing goes wrong, you blew it and if you succeed and don't clear the expectations you have created for yourself, you blew it again.

To me, first impressions are NOT just with a first meeting face to face...as I was trying to explain to a gentleman a little while ago via email. His choice of topic and use of the foul language is a big turn off when first trying to communicate, (for ME anyway).

Several months ago I met a gentleman off another web site...emails were great, then we'd spend hours into the night on the phone. We seemed to hit it off great, sounded like we had alot in common...until we meet face to face for the first time. The 'chemistry' factor wasn't there. He was a nice enough guy...for someone else, not me.
