From Within

From within this housed and sacred place, this inner wealth of my cause for being,

There exists inside - a stronger, more spiritual grace,

( . . . A newer, worldly, higher embrace, )

A realm well worth freeing

A growing, glowing house in which to most comfortably dwell,
A place of strength, body of my body, Soul of my Soul . . .

A haven beyond all that is Hell.

I relax here in amongst this most measured womb of ' self ', and dream of sharing,

Here in the exquisite, celestial realm of evening

And once here in evening I feel my Spirit at hand, no longer loathing wallowing
In increments of ancient, disdain and fear,

For as I sit outside now in the glow of this ancient moon,

I find myself existing here - from within.
