so i had this friend they decided to join the national guard i thought yea right you're too much of a b*tch but sure enough he did he was gone for awhile and when he came back he was looking more nervous than before i asked him what was wrong and he said next year he was being sent to iraq i hugged him and said im sorry and told him it'd all be okay but what came out of his mouth next shocked me and made me pretty angry he said to me yes it will be because im breaking both my legs so they cant send me since then i have been so angry! i have never ever been a snitch but i cant allow this i mean he doesnt deserve to wear that uniform if he cannot display the strength and bravery so many of our men and weman have displayed for so long so many others have given the ultimate sacrifice and seen far worse than even hell yet he thinks he can just break his legs so hes off the hook til its all over? i think not! is there anyone i can tell? it makes me sick because if they think its an accident and he'll still be thought of as a soldier instead of the coward he really is!

im sorry to hear, i have no ideal how u can tell someone or who u can tell. I can ask a friend of mine about it and see what he says

The "war" n Iraq is even less justified than the one in Viet Nam. But like Viet Nam, soldiers in Iraq don't know who is friend and who is foe. It's only natural that they're afraid. The brave soldiers who have fought and died in Iraq and Viet Nam need and deserve our support, but the fact that they are there should NOT be supported. The real cowards are those who sit comfortably at home and support this conflict.
