When you get a cavity filled-in can you chew gum or will it come out?

you can chew gum eventually but i don't know if you have to wait a brief time or not

yes you can chew gum once you have a perment filling. The temperary ones can come out. But what I think you are speaking of would be the perment type. I got several of the perment ones and I had a temperary for a few days once as when the dentist drilled the tooth he found infection in it and had to quit working on it.

thanks. i was jus scared. i lov 2 chew gum, but its my 1st cavity. i dont want holes in my mouth!
