As the title suggests a long time friend wants me to get Yahoo messenger so we can chat easily, I don't know anything about it, is it safe.
Any advice is most welcome. |

It is fairly safe but being a public chat you will get " friend requests". U have option to accept. Decline or block. Im not sure if u have to have yahoo email or not. Facebook is similiar. You can text..sms ..video or voice including international for free. My son said fb u cant send files so he got skype. Hope my limited knowledge helps.

Nope. Haven't used yahooIM since 2005. bots and viruses. blech.
Backup. Backup. Backup. kinda like DH now with scripts. ha!

I prefer facebook messenger myself. U can even call internationally for free but its dependant on internet.

I have facebook messenger ang its better when you chat or call a friend.You must have a facebook accnt first.Much better,try it Mr Mikey.

I use fb to keep up with family, work, and school chums. It has its drawbacks as all social media does. I have never twittered or pinterested.

I personally would fb messenger..Been using it for quite sometime now,with no problems..Good luck whichever you decide.
