as a rule, if your partner thinks it is cheating, it is.

if you feel you have to hide it, it is.

people view behavior differently. people's tolerances within a relationship vary quite widely, so the perception of cheating is not the same for everyone.

Totally reflects my views and feelings on the matter! I find it insulting to my intelligence when a guy says to me: 'oh, I'm just a hopeless flirt' and expects me to sit back, smile tolerantly and accept that chasing women etc....is part of a normal healthy relationship brokenheart even if it is one that starts off on line. It falls under the realm of shallow water testing and for me it is a no-go area and I take a step back the one as he is (or soon going to be) a cheater. ohwell

How much is flirting? Just being nice having a little fun or sexting?
There are some people, not just online, who are friendly to all people but completely monogamous.

It depends on the situation and level of trust in the relationship.

I flirt globally, but date locally. Try it. It's fun.

. I find there are so many things.
to take your partner's attention away from you..ie. alcohol drug addiction. gambling addictions.
. restoring vehicles in your garage.
. role playing. medieval times.
. Civil War dress up.
. video games pc games.
. glued to the football.
. sitting in your basement with his model train.. hunting. fishing.
working all hours day and night.
. so the problem is he sitting in the next room chatting with strangers..
. yes.. the evil ness of it all..rofl rofl rofl
