Living in The Netherlands and having had a GF from Romania, i can state that 2 cultures THAT different don't work. getting her to live here with me took a lot of hurdles with the dutch immigration office, and after 3 years (the period she had to live with me before she could file for an independant permit) she was gone. which made me conclude: 'she didn't love ME, but she loved my passport'. as a result of what happened, i put up sort of wall around me to prevend this happening to me again. IF i were to meet someone from outside my part of the world (i.e. Western Europe), i think things will not work. (mainly becaus paperwork and the suspicion like: 'do you love ME, or do you love my passport?') yes, it has made me sober..

Its nice but sometimes you also feel hurt hoping..and you dont really know if things will work out. It is so, yes, especially when you haven't met yet or spent some time together. It takes a lot of faith, and even if you have it quite a lot, it fails you sometimes....and you start thinking. Am i a fool? But i do believe there are success stories, would like to hear more of them though...

Because two diffrent people ,two diffrent culture , two differnt love mixed there I agree, dating culturally diverse men would be very interesting just to get a close up intimate view of their reality short term and noncommittal.
