I apologise if my post was confusing and you got the wrong end of the stick. I don't particularlr y care what you say about me but it annoyed me when you said that about my ex girlfriend. I don't really want to get into a philisophical debate with you just now about Christian morality because this thread is already derailed enough as it is. Again, what does anything of "Christian" have to do with anything? Nobody mentioned God, Jesus, the bible, or any form of religious belief in ANY way. Ever think someone has a belief, because it is the exact same way they feel/want and or desire? And don't have that belief/feeling(s) of something because of the "religious" belief thereof? Please stay on track and not ad-lib for what people are saying and or their motives. Well, you say in the lesbian thread that it's not biology and it's the culture you live in, so I'll grant that proposition and put it to you that it's not a simple matter of how you feel but that it's ideology. I read your profile and your posts and it seems clear that you are a Christian. Are you denying that you follow Christ with your words and actions? Not denying anything. Yes the culture WE live in, the culture of the world these days, more specifically the USA. But still what does specifically my beliefs have anything to do with the topic at hand? Everyone's decisions/likes/dislikes/ect come from something else and or are influenced by something/someone else. So thus again my religious beliefs have nothing "special" to do with specifically anything to do with this discussion and is irrelevant to the discussion at hand. Nobody was speaking religious talks, nobody even mentioned God in any way shape or form. So please, back on subject of the thread. |

There's a girl I see everyday. She knows I check her out. One day I caught her looking at me..although she immediately looked away. We never speak...but I want to approach her without scaring her away. Any suggestions? smile and walk up to her. Say hi, how are you. do the small talk thing and before she walks away then you go for it and throw her a compliment. Now she knows your interested and its not just friendly. Then say how bout coffee? Something like that... hmmm..are you the writer of the book "Dating for Dummies" ? |

Recent surveys show that Christians are now a minority in the UK. People here just don't think like you. We don't have the same views about sexual morality. Cheating is still frowned on though. I'm saying that people in my culture are more sexually liberated and less uptight about it and get into sexual relationships more quickly. So, yes, if I've got a bird I expect her not to go with other guys, however flirty she may be. I know a girl that's Swedish. That's another culture. She's the biggest flirt that I know. First time I met her she said something about me being able to see her knickers. As far as I know though she doesn't have a boyfriend and she's not sexually active. No reason to believe that if I did get lucky with her and she became my girlfriend that she would cheat. How long it takes is a matter of how long a woman decides to hold out on me and also on how hard I'm trying to get into her pants. If I'm not trying I'm likely to get friend zoned or just dismissed as not being boyfriend material because there's no sexual chemistry. |
