sex education in public schools is to teach the basic facts of life.
unless students attend a private school that is based upon any religious beliefs, there isn't any religious teaching in the classroom. the reality is it's really up to the parents what examples they teach throughout their child's life, not just while their kids are learning this at school. if you haven't been raising your children with religious and/or moral beliefs, by the time they learn about sex education in school they have learned many other things elsewhere and it might be too late to try to instill moral values |

personally op if its put under health does not always mean a certain religion its being safe an just what are bodies are and can do ... for being safe with deceases or birth control and how you can get them an protect from ...and then left up to the caregiver or parent to initiate if that is what is in line with the religion or not ... so many say no not my child and well look what can happen ... and swear up and down their not sexually active ... and some are afraid to even tell ... and hide it or throw the child away once born or even kill the child ... so I believe it really should be a open discussion of the does and don't ... if not at home in health class ...

what should happen and what does happen are two totally different things.
in a world filled with all manner of sexually crazed sociopath perverts, to throw more sex education into the hands of the general "education" system... is absolutely foolhardy, if the safety and well being of children are the goal. such will simply result in more teachers being arrested than already are, many each day all across the country. perhaps after advanced scientific sexual predator testing is done on all teaching staff. be for real. only naive self absorbed people think authority is LESS predatory... when indeed, "authority" has ALWAYS propagated MORE PREDATORY. |
