I'd tell them to have the guts to say it infront of my whole family. As letting only me know would seem like a cop out.

run 2 nearest clinic, get tested, and start preventative meds if available. if u haven't shared body fluids (fat chance nowadays) get tested anyway and decide if you want to possibly shorten ur lifespan and endure painful, recurring illnesses in exchange for loving this person. it is up to you, no judgement made, not that it matters. gotta give them "props" for telling you in first place. many people would not. heck, most people won't even tell you they got head lice much less a life threatening, communicable disease.

oh yeah, and refrain from sex with anyone until you are certain of your test results. and dress ur weasel whenever entertaining.
