I would be very careful.If its true love on your part I would tell her, but first I would decide if I love her or just the qualities that made us good friends.

As long as you're both single, I think you should tell her. I know how painful it can be. I once stopped dating, as I was way too in deep for a certain male friend. It makes you feel like you can't stop thinking about them.
