One of my friends grandchildren call me Mi-Maw......she is Mam-Maw I got to pick my name and its a southern form of Grandma or at least that is what the online book said when I looked up other names for Grandma..............



Today I feel like Im older than dirt.........so today I just want to be Mi-Maw........sittng back in my rocking chair................and listening, observing, and maybe offering a little bit of wisdom.........oh wait I think I lost that somewhere along the line.........

Seriously, I still feel (inside) the way I felt in high school, same sense of humor, same dispostion, I look at my grown kids and wonder how this is possible!! Seems like just yesterday they were little!

I agree with you........I normally don't feel my age according to my birth certificate but today everything seems to just be sad............and its not even a full moon to blame it on........that isnt until next week........

I started doing something to battle those feelings and maybe you might want to try it, actually everyone might want to try it...

Do at least ONE THING EACH DAY THAT MAKES YOU HAPPY

doesn't matter what it is, just decide on something and do it, no matter what, it really lifts my spirits
