I've gotten this one before, just a different name.

I get em all the time from Africa...not just here, which until the
report abuse feature came ou I just blocked em. I also get em
occassionally in my personal email addy..yeah can we say junk mail
button..ahhh what a wonderful invention that button is lol

I had one Instant message me, she said she was from my hometown (she
couldnt even type in english for shit lol) and she was trapped in africa
on a photo shoot for a modeling aganecy lmao. So she wanted to send me
her checks have me cash them and then get her a ticket back. She was a
nut! I strung her along for a lil while and had a buddy Im her too and
she pulled the same scam on him WHILE she was trying to pull it on me.
needless to say we jumped all over her and never heard from her again.

I have been getting letters from a few people asking me that - lol -
apparently since I posted this thread, the emails from Russian woman are
on the rise. Go figure! Maybe since the site is fairly new, they have
invaded like vultures!!

The "Africa" scam is new to me. However, I DID get one from Nigeria once
from this woman who wanted me to put money in my bank account till she
got here and I was to receive 15% upon her arrival to the States. $4500
bucks, I think it was. Something about her father being laid up in a
hospital. Who knows? Who cares? It had "Scam" written all over it.

Never in a million years did I expect this thread to go this long...But
I am glad that I am raising awareness on scams.

Anyone else out there getting scams from "woman" all over the world? Or
any other scams? Do they really think that we are that stupid? lol

the lady man or wtfe it is that IM'd me and im not talking email, im
talking actually instant messaged me is still around lol. If I buzz
them they actually answer LMAO. The problem they have is it takes
awhile for them to remember which one I am. Also, its not one person,
its obviously a group on one account because some of the stuff Ive said
lol would not get a response from a lady trapped in africa from
wisconsin. They would have caught on quick that I was just catering to
their stupid scam to get a good laugh.

Okay, I just checked my yahoo mail and I had a message from some
dimwitted woman in Russia who found my "structure pleasing" lmaooo, so I
called her bluff just for a laugh.

I immediately wrote her back and told her that I would pay for her to
come to the U.S. and we could live happily ever after. Heehee!

Well, the email she sent back couldn't have been any quicker!!! "Send
me $750 American dollars and I will be there as soon as I can."

Amazing how their Engish gets sooo much better when money is involved!!
Hehehehehe!

Anyone else who tries this, I would be very interested to know what
happens!
