hey everybody i met a gal thru jsh and were meeting tommorow any advice on avoiding first date awkwardness? (if shes reading this thatd b pretty awkward)

Meet there then if your comfortable try something differnt... a park or go window shopping downtown something where you can just chit chat & not feel like you have to think of something to say.. & just tell yourself your just going to meet a old friend that you've spent many hours talking to so there is no reason to feel all shy!!

Carebear, love you buddy, but there isn't enough alcohol or drugs in this world to get me to sing on a stage! I will, however, accompany you and cheer you on! Stevil, I'm simply saying that everyone does Starbucks and it's boring I don't think I'd go out with someone who wanted to go there on a first date. It doesn't have to be expensive, hell, it doesn't have to cost anything, but a little creativity is nice. But, if it was her idea, well, what do you do?

Since your into poetry & art maybe a coffee house that has books or readings... Our down town area has really built up & focusing on the history so there is alot of lil shops & even the city hall has a kewl historical thing in the old fire house.... a street fair something that you can chat about when you run out of "well what do you like to do for fun"
