Archaeologists digging in the ancient Egyptian city of Oxyrhynchus. A team of Spanish archaeologists has unearthed what one expert says could be one of the most ancient images of Jesus, painted on the walls of an underground structure in an Egyptian tomb. The Egyptologists from Catalonia made the discovery in the ancient Egyptian city of Oxyrhynchus, with the tombs said to date from the 6th and 7th centuries. The leader of the search team, Josep Padro, a 20-year veteran of excavations in the region, told the Spanish-language newspaper La Vanguardia the find was 'exceptional.' According to the Local, the discovery by a joint team from the Catalan Egyptology Society and the University of Barcelona has caused such a buzz that even Egypt's minister of antiquities, Mohamed Ibrahim, is now personally involved. He broke the news himself in a press release which described the contents of the tombs, which are thought to have belonged to a well-known writer and a family of priests. more here:(with pic) http://www.wnd.com/2014/04/archaeologists-find-hidden-tomb-of-jesus/ |

It will definitely be interesting to see what comes about from this. It is strange how the news stations here are not talking about this, but it is all over the internet. Thank you Moe for posting this!

Thank you Moe for posting this! Well, they do not tell the truth to people. The Sumerian Culture, which dates back to 6,000 BC, is the oldest known culture on Earth. Even today we still use the same Mathematical system, Calendar, and Time as they created it so long ago. Since we have the evidence left over today, we can see similarities between what they had then, and what we have now. Look at stones, cutting by machine. Perhaps images of Anunnak |

Is it just me or is this common core math with 2 + 2 not equal to 7?
Here we have a picture of a curly haired young man supposedly blessing something but it look more like a wave. And Jesus has always been presented as long flowing hair, not curly but I guess he could have stopped by the parlor and had it straightened as an adult. But that's not the big issue, it's the dating of the tombs. 6th to 7th century, doesn't that by logic mean a minimum of 500 years after his death? So did someone preserve a photo for 500 years and have an artist paint on their tomb? This just doesn't add up, but then to believers I guess it doesn't have to. |

How would anyone know what Jesus looks like? Very true, but does it even matter about the physical? |

Really nice to hear... I wasn't updated on this.. But I believe god is in our heart... does it matter how god looks?? no it doesn't and it is OK if u say instead of Jesus we know what you mean. it is not that it matters what Jesus looks like, it's just almost like a miracle to have the chance to see his image |

Really nice to hear... I wasn't updated on this.. But I believe god is in our heart... does it matter how god looks?? no it doesn't and it is OK if u say instead of Jesus we know what you mean. it is not that it matters what Jesus looks like, it's just almost like a miracle to have the chance to see his image Really and just what makes you think that would be his image? Because someone that has never met him nor has any explanation of why this picture is in Egypt with Jesus as supposedly as a boy. But what about the other actual depictions that have been directly associated with Jesus from 235AD from Syria? And another from the third century from the catacombs of Rome? Depiction of Jesus Sounds like somebody is getting ready to sucker in the ignorant masses, well as they say a fool and their money are soon separated. |
