I'm looking for a good read that would make me cry or any book that would leave me with a heavy feeling after reading it. Any recommendations?

Silent Honour and Mirror Image, both novels by Danielle Steel. Angela and The Scarlet Thread, both by Francine Rivers. Give 'em a try. Oh and try Terri Gerritsen's books as well, worth your precious time.
