what happend was in the second quarter, i was going after a guy that had picked off a pass, and out of nowhere came the middle l/b and a d tackle, one hit me high and the other hit me right around my floating ribs with his helmet and facemask. that play ended the half. to begin with, we only had 17 guys show up and only 4 of them were lineman. i got up real slow cause i knew something wasent right. after halftime, i went back in, i was playing both ways and was going for another nice tackle, which i got a beautiful one by the way, and i collided with a guard, and when i did, it felt like someone had stuck one of my big blades in my side and twisted it,, i blacked out and hit the ground. i woke up coughing and almost throwing up. they got me rolled over and i could not breath. they cut my shoulder pads off me and my undershirt, and they saw swelling right around my right side floating ribs. all i knew was i could not breath. i was freaking out, so they held me down to keep from hurting myself worse. they called an ambulance to come get me. took me to the hospital and the whole time the ems guys were there they had me on o2. they were worried i was going to stroke out cause when they checked my b/p it was around 190 over 112. they got me stable and transported me. and happens to be my first ride in an ambulance,, which i must say i never wanna do again. they got me there and ran a ct scan and took xrays . they found i have a bruised liver,, and yeah it hurts like hell. and i have several bruised ribs. there is a possiblitly that i have cracked a rib or 2,, but they have to have the radiologist look at the films and they will call me to let me know. while at the hospital, i found out why i got hit like i did. my stupid ass guard was chop blocking their middle linebacker and almost took his knees out. so he got payback by taking me out. im out more than likely for the rest of the season. ill know for sure probably around noon today. thank you guys for your prayers and concern. it means alot to me. ill be around for a few so if you want to know more, let me know. oh yeah,, they killed us, when i left it was tied up 6 all,, after i was taken out, and another tackle was taken out, the score went to 61 -6. but we still are in the playoffs. but i doubt i will be.
