i imagine this comes down to how much you like the person in question. thinking that a wall is put up can be seen as off putting.. maybe just set the rules at the beginning and let it takes its course. as a guy i think would be hard to not become attached but thats me. good luck

I know its pretty much possible from experience, but yes it does get dull and boring and eventually dies off
