I think I would head for the mountains, maybe hide out at Timberline Lodge on Mt Hood, I live about 40 minutes from there, though if it happened in the winter I'd have to fight zombie skiers and snowboarders. But I think the cold would slow the zombies down even more. Wear jeans or any kind of thick pants, and jean or leather jackets for extra protection. Definitely not going to be running around in the zombie apocalypse in t-shirt and shorts. Moe had the right idea with a sword. If I had a rifle I would try to save the ammo and use it for hunting. don't forget dead reckoning... That's how I'll get .there.. . now is that driving. time.. Are would you walk .it... perhaps a bike.. I think I read it it was in the . Zombie Survival Guide.. that a pedal bike was a good idea... no need for gas.. hook up one of those.. bike trailers.. load it up . and of you go.. yeah some sort of high powered rifle for sure with a good scope... definitely a side arm... and I would trade out. the sword. for a nice solid machete... it does double duty... but yes..Torgo.. I would definitely get out of the city... no supplies with you though.hmm. and yes I would have some sort of body armor on.. lightweight... . A pedal bike would be the way to go, yeah, The Walking Dead they never seem to have a shortage of fuel, then again they never seem to have a shortage of current model cars either. |

.. yes all the oldies and goldies from the graveyard.. let's find the oldest Winnebago we. can.. and drive around in that hunk of junk.... but not a bad idea really...2014.. big *** Winnebago... armed to the teeth... towing a couple motorbikes... and of course some pedal bikes...hmm... makes me want to go down to.. my local dealership... and scope one out right now....lol

We've been growing our own produce for years and we're not new to tending livestock. Water, we have our own well and a ready filtration system. Our house is on a small hill, very nice vantage point and very easy to defend. Yep, we are prepared for almost anything. The nature of my work before taught me to always be prepared for any worst case scenario. |

. do you terminate. every zombie you come across.. Are do you hold out some hope that there will be a cure.... if you came across.. to young children. between the age of 10 and 14... do you offer them assistance... are quietly watch them pass by you.....??.. |

You cannot leave the zombies and just get away. What have we learned from when Carl let that zombie be and then it came back again! Why leave them to terrorize other survivors. Kill the dead and fear the living. I live on the water so I would load up the boat with my family and friends and as many supplies as possible and head out to one of the islands just off the coast. Good topic!

..so Travel arranger. you are not holding out hope for a cure then..hmm... yes a Island would be nice... but I believe zombies can walk underneath the water... did you not know this.... well now you do... so be careful on that beautiful island... because it could turn into Dead Island quite quickly...... you bring up a good point though... how cautious would you be of others... how soon would your paranoia get the best of you... this is a question for everyone...hmm.. shoot first and ask questions later....hmm...

another thing i was thinking about is storing crap after you find it...things like ammo, bottled water, weapons, canned foods...
store it in different places around your camp or wherever your living at the time... that way if people come around and find a stash, you'll have more spread around so you don't lose everything... |
