Mountain goats... First thing I saw arriving in Jasper.

.cococa.. I spent 3 years. working and living in Jasper Park.. best three years of my life..

.. this is Jasper Park Lodge.. massive.. Lodge. beautiful golf course.. hi and pampering..

.. you'd wake up everyday to find elk. on your doorstep.

.. it is called spirit Island..

.. they come right up to your vehicle.. unfortunately that gets a lot of them killed throughout the year..

I arrived by train.. mountain goats on the small cliffs.. got off the train..surrounded by white peaks...I called my mother on a nearby payphone to share my zeal! I said, you'll never guess what I can see...
The shop keeper told me that the moose would come into the garbage cans during the night. Moose?!? I'm a city girl. We have skunks.. not moose.. Loll!

.. yes you would think the Bears would be scary enough.. but the moose were worse than the Bears..lol
