So, if you make less that $40,000 a year and find the high cost of Obamacare to be overwhelming, President Obama has a message for you: cancel your stupid cable TV and you dang iPhone service you ingrates. THEN you will be able to afford his mandated-by-law take over of our national healthcare system.
This is what Obama told a Latino audience at a townhall held on March 6 by several Spanish language media networks. Obama was presented with a question about a family that makes $36,000 a year and found that the cheapest Obamacare plan they could find would cost them $315 a month. This, the family felt, was too expensive and something they could not afford. The Presidents response was chilling. Obama said, if you looked at their cable bill, their telephone, their cell phone bill it may turn out that, it's just they haven't prioritized health care. So, he expects people to cancel their phones and TV to be able to afford his mandated, fiat healthcare charges? But wait, isn't this the same President who said that healthcare would be cheaper than a cell phone bill? I can use my own expenses as an example here. I have minimum cell service and a minimum cable TV package and both bills together barely get to the $315 a month that the healthcare above would cost. So, it is clear that Obama lied right out that his takeover of our healthcare system would produce cheaper insurance rates than a cell phone bill. But I guess we are getting used to this President being an outright liar........... http://www.rightwingnews.com/democrats/obama-tells-us-to-cancel-cell-phone-and-cable-to-pay-for-obamacare/ Go figure. All though he will give you his Obama Phone free cell phone............... |

Everyone can now be exempted from Obozocare if they file a "hardship" claim. For your reason? Simply put down "unaffordable" and wah lah....you're exempt! |

Well I do have to agree with Odumbo on one thing, you would have to be an idiot to spend over $300 a month for a cell phone and cable. Of course an even bigger idiot would have Odumbocare, especially in conjunction with cable and large cell bills.

Welfare queens can afford wi-fi, vidia games, all channel satellite tv, air jordans and get taxpayer paid health care.
That is, while the majority has to go without. Who all here wants to sell their souls to be slaves to the corporation? I know a few that have. |

Obama kept talking about people going bankrupt due to medical bills because they couldn't afford health insurance through no fault of their own before the Unaffordable unhealthy care act was passed.
Now Obama wants to claim a cable and cell phone bill will cover the cost of insurance and medical expenses to avoid bankruptcy???.....so Is he basically telling people it's their fault if they file for bankruptcy due to medical bills because its their fault if they can't afford health care??? Even if that family of 4 could afford the insurance premium there is a good chance they couldn't afford the deductible, co-insurance and co-payments should a medical catastrophe occur. But hey...Obama has proven time and time again how out of touch with both the facts and reality about this fiasco he signed into law. PERIOD!!!!! ![]() I don't know how many people I told that if I had chosen to buy a new care every three year, took expensive vacations, ate out several time a week like many people do I couldn't have afforded health insurance either......had I made different choices financially when I had bypass surgery and wound up with bladder cancer I would have had to file for bankruptcy too. But my cell phone and cable payments are less than a 1/3 of my insurance premiums. |

I pay $20 a month for my phone and no cable or TV..... still not buying into Obozos' healthcare ponzi scheme Correction....I do pay my part of cable internet.... $30 That's the ticket, my phone is $40 all in but I have unlimited everything except 4G, don't need that crap on my phone. I do like high speed internet but pay the full tic at around $60 all in. For TV I have the internet with Netflix and YouTube and a little ole antenna for news and stuff, used to get 42 channels but currently looking for new home so don't know until I get there. Wow, going to YouTube and typing in a search request and learning how others do things like raise chickens and organic gardening. Now there is reality TV. Cable TV, outlandish, a monopoly that gets more expensive every year and for what, nothing is on. Just designed to keep the little idiot masses entertained. There is better programming for free and in real HD. |

You know everybody concentrates on the costs of Odumbocare from a monthly premium basis but they seldom stop to contemplate the overall out of pocket costs.
For 2014, that out of pocket expense can't exceed $6350 for deductibles and co-pays. That adds $529.16 per month to the costs of a policy before the insurance pays a single cent. Now for a family the amount would be $12,700 or $1058.33 a month for deductibles before the in pays. Now many on-line sources are quoting the average insurance costs of $328 for singles and $663 for families on a monthly basis. So the totals on a monthly average basis using the deductibles would be $857.16 for a single and a family would be $1691.33. But what is real scary is the IRS is saying that the cheapest family plan, bronze, will be $20,000. And then there are so many sites including the IRS that says that is a myth. But how can that be.... TRUTH: IRS Estimates the Average Family (of 5, making over $120k) is Estimated Pay an average of $20k in 2016 for basic Insurance on the insurance exchanges. Only the IRS can say something is a myth and a truth at the same time with a straight face. Imagine that! Read more: IRS: Obamacare Cheapest Plan $20,000 Per Family in 2016 |
