I opened my eyes to a new day
New opportunities
Lots of different possibilities
Still the ache remains inside my heart
But I can see the sun shinning through the shades
It slips into my bedroom
Uninvited and unaware of the warm it brings.

A new day has begun
The covers seem like a perfect refuge
But one shall not avoid reality or run away from it
The burdens from yesterday should not be dragged into today.
I managed the courage to breath deeply
and suddenly I got it... Life goes on
With you or without you in it.

A new day full of new presents
Smiles, hugs, laughs are abiding for me.
A new day to make an inventory of the daily goals
Baby steps towards the main goal.
Looked into the mirror and gave a big smile to the woman infront of me
I had forgotten how beautiful she is
and even when things are to get better
I remember that a new day awaits for me so,
I turn the music on and as a mandatory action
My body dances to the rythm and I know...
There is pain in my heart but in front of me
is the possibility of a brand new day.
