“And I will restore to you the years that
the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm,
and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm,
my great army which I sent among
you” (Joel 2:25).
Most people start their lives, businesses,
marriages, jobs, education, and indeed
other ventures with God (since He is the
Alpha) but abandon Him when they feel
He’s delaying. These folks find it difficult
relating to God as the Omega in Whom all
things work together.
Here is a true story.
She was a first-class student and a true
trailblazer. Her cocktail of accolades was
enviable. She rose to the echelon of her
banking career in record time, working for
the most innovative bank in Nigeria. She
specialized in the technological aspect of
banking when it was dominated by men.
In her insatiable quest for knowledge, she
resigned and went to one of the foremost
business schools in the United Kingdom
and once again, came out with laurels.
She was appointed the pioneer managing
director of a Nigerian bank in the United
Kingdom. She recently resigned from the
top management position of one of the
biggest banks in Nigeria to set up her
consulting firm!
All the while, she remained a faithful and
devout Christian and devoted wife. Her
successes never affected her marriage or
her relationship with Jesus. There was,
however, a challenge she was battling.
She did not have the fruit of the womb
after nineteen years of marriage! She still
held on to her Omega.
Then, Omega showed her why His name
is Alpha and Omega!
She conceived and delivered three
bouncing baby boys!
Beloved of God, please don’t give up on
God, for He does not give up on His
children. If He could offer up Jesus Christ,
His first begotten Son, what can He not
give you? In His time, He makes all things
beautiful and possible!
What you are waiting for is still possible -
babies, jobs, education, spouses,
businesses, houses, promotions, etc. All
things will surely work together for your
good, and He will surely restore all that
you think you’ve lost!
Have a spledid weekend in Jesus name.
Amen!
