wait,,, the (southern) state of casey Anthony and Zimmerman and Michael Dunn votes republican and anti OBAMA?

say it aint so,,,,laugh laugh laugh laugh

Guess you don't follow politics much! The Dems swore they would take the vote, put forth a well known and respected candidate, sank a ton of money into it, and it was close.... They even stated that due to the demographic of voters it would prove Obozocare wasn't going to be an issue come November..... and they lost.... so now it's a non-consequential election?

So I don't know what you are trying to imply

Oh, much worse than that, that whole area, especially Pinellas county, is so blue it is deep navy bordering on pure black.

But then Alex Sink is a past president of NationsBank, now Bank of America.

Im implying that its not NEWS to most of the country that FLORIDA is going to be a republican ruled, anti Obama area of the country,,,

lol

kudos to democrats for hoping they could change it in this particular election, but its kind of like dems were Spinks talking mess against Tyson,, not really a surprise outcome,,lol

You have absolutely no clue of what you are talking about. Florida has traditionally been a Red state until the current state of entitlements has turned all the major metropolitan areas deep, deep blue. Odumbo won Florida because of Tampa, Orlando, Jacksonville, Miami, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, Naples and Fort Myers. All the old traditional Florida counties voted "Red" and they feel their state has been taken from them.

The ACA was approved by the required votes from both parties in Congress, and signed into law by the President in 2010. The Supreme Court upheld the constitutionality of the law in 2012. Support it or hate it, it's here to stay. As long as people allow themselves to be manipulated by the talking point rhetoric and phony fundamental disputes from both parties, we will keep getting more of the same.

The Supreme did not uphold the ACA as being constitutional. In fact it struck it down on the basis of the "Commerce Clause" and again on the "Necessary and Proper" clause. It did concede that congress had the power to tax and that ACA could be deemed a tax (congress declared it a penalty not a tax). But it did not resolve the issue, it danced around it:

"The Affordable Care Act's requirement that certain individuals pay a financial penalty for not obtaining health insurance may reasonably be characterized as a tax. Because the Constitution permits such a tax. it is not our role to forbid it, or to pass upon its wisdom or fairness."

That at best is a very weak opinion waiting to be challenged once someone has "standing" to do so. And that will not be until after the penalty cuts in during the 2015 tax reporting period.

Republicans can win.....when the dead don't vote.ohwell

If the near dead didn't vote there wouldn't be a Republican party.

And if the dead and illegals didn't vote there wouldn't be a Demoncrap party

Be nice if they'd let a real statesman run for a change, but the unions and the war machine, along with their media, won't allow that to happen

Welfare or warfare, or you can't play!

Funny how they "silently" gave the whole population an out on Obozocare but yet the media keeps it quiet.

Now, all you have to do is state it's a "hardship" and WAH LAH, you're exempt!

Find that in the news!

How true, but even better than that, just ignore it. Declare your rights and ...

House Speaker John Boehner, (R-Ohio), was quoted in a Fox News story as saying the latest rule change would apply to "essentially everyone."

ObamaCare's Secret Mandate Exemption

But amid the post-rollout political backlash, last week the agency created a new category: Now all you need to do is fill out a form attesting that your plan was cancelled and that you "believe that the plan options available in the [ObamaCare] Marketplace in your area are more expensive than your cancelled health insurance policy" or "you consider other available policies unaffordable."

Not quite, here is the text...

"On December 19, 2013, CMS issued guidance indicating that individuals whose policies are cancelled because the coverage is not compliant with the Affordable Care Act qualify for a hardship exemption if they find other options to be more expensive, and are able to purchase catastrophic coverage. This hardship exemption will continue to be available until October 1, 2016, for those individuals whose non-compliant coverage is cancelled and who meet the requirements specified in the guidance."

You must be able to purchase catastrophic coverage, a real screw job.
