two shows in and I am drawn in... I found Ragnars words to his daughter as he sits on the beach a tender scene.... anyone else watching or am I alone?...smile.

Maybe youre thinkin of Spartacus? great movie. I am spartacus! Kirk Douglas was in a movie titled The Vikings, with Tony Curtis.

I have started watching Vikings on the History Channel as well. Although not as good as the Spartacus series, it has gotten my attention. I am looking forward to the dynamics between Ragnar and his disgraced brother.

justjim.....and let's not forget his firstborn son....... It will be interesting to see how his first wife interacts with the new so-called princess. That princess looks evil and looks like she has something up her sleeve. Eliminate the competition perhaps?

hmmmm...I think the first wife will be back..sometime....be interesting to see the twists......the princess has a dark side,no doubt.....

Bjorn is older, because 5 years have past. Logatha, Ragnar's 1st wife has married another Earl and living off in another part of Scandinavia. The Princess has given birth to 3 children to Ragnar. He is currently off with King Herrick raiding King Eichnar's lands. West Suffox area. Really like it, because of the way it draws at times, and gives you some time of thought to ponder what the characters maybe thinking.

Teasingbrunette, did you not get to see the 1st season? Must check it out to understand Ragnar's slight complexity of a person, as husband, a father, but also a leader. Hope you may get a chance to check it out.
