Oh yeah, I definitely remember. I have a few friends who are huge on gun rights etc and that's all they talked about for months while the guy was on trial.

do u think it was b.s. he got away with killing. i mean we all know his life wasnt in danger lol. he should have got something for that. killing someone is more serious than stealing i think

I think there should have been more done as far as punishment is concerned. I don't think he meant to kill the guy, but just being acquitted isn't enough in my opinion. I just kept my mouth shut and didn't say much about it lol.

thats probably why it seemed like most people were for the car owner. only because the people who were against him on it kept their mouth shut. which i think they should have stood up regardless of what the thief did because taking someones life isnt the answer. and trying to lie about it, should make him look even worse. you know what i mean?

Oh yeah, most definitely. I think that more voices should have been heard for sure. I get that he was trying to stop the guy from stealing his car, but my god. Shoot the tires out or something. Don't shoot the guy and kill him.

i mean, did it really give him his car back? the car crashed and was practically totaled and on top of that has blood all over the place. i wouldnt want that car back lol. so he basically killed him over nothing. just anger. so he should get some time for that. but the jury is just like everyone else. they knew it wasnt self defense but they felt sorry for him. messed up court system right

Most definitely. Our court system is so f*cked up, it's not even funny. Just because you take pity on someone doesn't mean they should get away without so much as a slap on the wrist. It's ridiculous. This is why I could never be a lawyer / attorney / judge. I don't think I could remain neutral lol.

i think it was a huge mistake to bring it to a jury. they know that 90 perecent of spokane are for the car owner. i saw that coming lol. is there even such thing as right and wrong anymore? or is it all in our heads?

I think there is still such a thing as right vs wrong, it's just been muddled by a screwed up system.
