It's much simpler to just rally the states to TURN OFF THE WATER! How should states fight the NSA? Turn off the water, say some CA senators want to bar law enforcement from helping; others would go further. Several (over 13 last count) states have bills before their legislatures to do just that, acting where congress won't! http://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/2014/01/how-should-states-fight-the-nsa-turn-off-the-water-say-some/ If congress doesn't act against domestic spying the states will act! If the states act it will shut the NSA down. If the NSA is shut down the nation will suffer because the NSA has a valid purpose, they have just forgotten it under this admin....as has congress! Bad leadership has brought us to this point.....it time to clean house! |

If all else fails,outlaw the Application!
That does bring up another point, all they really collect is the meta tag data and that can't be encrypted or the message can't be transmitted to it destination. So when they need to actual info, they take the time to decrypt and bingo, right back to square one. But still, it's going to make a killing in the mass market, I would bet billions just in South America alone. Wow, another set of Bill Gate's. |
