If I notice I am being stared at, I will approach the other person and say something off the wall. If they reply in kind, I know there is a sense of humor. YAY! HOPE! *chair dance* If there is no response, I have gently pat their shoulder and say 'Dont worry. You will be ok.' and walk off. I recall a few years ago, grocery shopping wicked early one morning. I said good morning to an employee and he replied in kind. I made chit chat, thats what I do. After a few seconds he said, I do not mean no disrespect when I say this but you have a very nice........... (I busted out laughing for I thought I knew the word arse was coming..) PHYSIQUE. I turned beet red, thanked him. I gigglesnorted as I walked by, informing him I was turning 41 in a few days and he made my morning... Most of the times I cannot tell if I am being hit on or if someone is being uber friendly. Im not approached a lot so I will take a gander and say they were the latter...*snickering* If someone cannot shoot the **** with me, it is going nowhere fast. I try to ask open-ended questions most of the times. Again, if someone gives me a one word response, I can get that at home from my kid or my cat. You must go the gym, does that work? By the way, your hair is awesome. |

for real if I said oh let's go get a coffee.. I don't know.. how about here's my number to text me.. I would like to get to know you a little better.. would that work.... it's better then excuse me miss. does this rag smell like chloroform to you..lol This 2  I heard chloroform is bad for you. Coffee is a better idea. One puts you to sleep. the other wakes you up. Once again take the coffee. |

I work out most of the time at home depending on my mood. I do not want to pay for something I could do for free... Except swim year round. I will high consider paying just for a pool membership.

so if I walked up to you.. and said excuse me miss but I felt attracted towards you.. I was wondering even curious if you felt the same.. would you perhaps allow me to introduce myself to you.. would that work are too stuffy maybe.??. I mean of course we would have had noticed each other first..D..lol This would be a good approach in my opinion. At least, it would work with me. I can get a conversation started easily and I am a communicator, so a good conversation could be carried on quite easily if there was interest. About the flashy cars, bling, anything materialistic, that is way, way down at the bottom of my list. For me it's about communication, speaking from your mind, heart, and soul, personality, and sense of values...those are THE most important things to me. JMHO |
