At this little convention
Written at the end of the week
A little tongue in cheek
Do you see all the vanity
In this world of insanity
As you sit with your crown
Here to tear your playhouse down
Profiles being superficial
And artificial
Want the house by the lake
Afraid to make a mistake
Most want perfection
Is that a form of protection
Win your heart by election
All are players of the game
Do we have any shame
Beware of cougars and the shark
And the ones with the vicious bark
Heaven help the sheep
And the one who don’t look very deep
Most only want what looks nice
Too hard to roll the dice
Finding love on a screen
You make me want to scream
In Closing, this is written out of the blue
Do I really want to meet you?
As you drink out of your fantasy cup
It will be about time to wake up.
