Way 2 much! Apparently all the guys think they're a "Good guy".
^^^But not this guy.

You're not a good guy then? What kind of guy are you?
I'm a guy with some manners, just not a quote "good guy" or a "Jerk" for that matter.glasses

For instance, I'd like to ask Julie out, but won't only because she's too far away, and I know I'm not in the right place to date right now. Plus, I tried to send her a message, but it was blocked for being too far away....lolflowerforyou

Yes. Ask her out before befriending her. Guys fall into a trap of trying to get a girl to like them before asking them out. Change it around, ask them out and then get them to like you.

Exactly. Once a girl starts thinking of you as her friend, it's hard to stop. Once she starts thinking of you as her lover, it's also hard to stop.

Well, there's your answer. Being a jerk is the best way to get a woman to stop thinking of you as her friend.

Actually, I have seen women change their minds about not wanting to be more than friends when I've been a bit ungentlemanly. Not exactly sure why they do that but I suspect that it's because they realise that you aren't as desperate for them as they thought that you were when you were just being nice.

Hahaha, I wish it was that easy Julie:) EVERY woman I know says the same thing about me, "Your probably the coolest guy I know". What's the female/male translation for that? lol:)

i'm not sure why your blaming women... did you tell them what you want, or are you letting them make a guess? i see so many guys saying the exact same thing, but none of them has had the balls to go for the woman... you have to put it out there, and keep trying, otherwise guys will asking the same question over and over...

Alright, here's my rant and then I'm done with the nice guy threads.

Chances are these nice guys that finish last were probably aiming too high to begin with. There are exceptions to every rule. With saying that people need to be realistic. If there's a girl that has Gucci handbags then the guy living in his moms basement probably shouldn't bother to date her. Even if she does date u she will grow tired of u and move on bc guess what buddy!! She wants a guy that is into similair things. Or maybe she thinks if I can afford a bag y can't this guy get an apartment. Anyway, my point is guys are gonna get rejected. A lot. Get used to it. Not every girl is a bit** bc she doesn't like u romantically. Girls have to dig through awful guys to get their fella. It should b no diff for the guy. Just think, when u do find ur gal u will appreciate her even more. Nice guys finish last bc they r looking for the wrong girl usually

The end.

I said it before ,I will say it again
YES good guys finish last. Because once a woman finds a good guy he will be the last one she wants.

I've noticed over the years that the really awesome women seem attracted to...for lack of an acceptable term...Bad Guys. Is it the "tough guy" attitude that attracts them, or the challenge of "making him better"? I'm confused, surprise surprise lol.

Women are attracted to confidence. The guys who complain about finishing last aren't showing that they're confident. Women also aren't going to be attracted to the negativity these guys give off.

Very true, you can also insert women in that very statement.
