Just now- I got a call from an old friend; years ago, when I met him, he left a 36K job to work for me at $9/hr because he believed in what I was doing. I don't like "bragging" but in truth I took impossible cases no one else wanted and turned them around; we kicked butt for about 10 years, when some stupid administrators basically closed down the program. Anyhow, he said everywhere he goes he finds himself talking about me- my sterling personality (LOL); the work I could do with people and the fact when he had a heart attack I helped out his family a bit. Stuff I never thought twice about, apparently effected him very deeply and him expressing his affection to me, made me a little weepy.

Just ended a one year relationship. It's okay though. I'm sad but it's the kind of sad that also comes with the feeling of a heavy burden lifted. I had been putting it off for quite some time. It still hurts though. Breakups always do.

Seriously...You've not cried since you were in the 5th grade? Did you cry over the relationships you've said you had that didn't work out? That seems really unbelievable to me! Maybe those relationships never broke your heart or you never took them seriously...just saying.
