I'm a fairly logical thinker, with good grounding in academics and the entire US legal structure gives me significant pause.
A lot of asian countries that give far greater pause, but comparing rotten apples isn't as good as finding a clean ripe one. There is a ridiculously tremendous accord for institutionalized corruption throughout the US legal system from county to federal level. Just so fell in love with gangsters I guess. |

But it shouldn't sir, the legal system is the only weapon the people have without resorting to violence. This country is still based on the Common Law and as it is written into the federals and the state constitutions that I have read (not all of them by any means). What is so difficult is the attempt of the legal system, say BAR, that has subverted the system for financial gain. They make you think you can't do anything without a lawyer, but there is the rub. To be a lawyer, you must be a member of the BAR, a private union with untold inroads to places they don't belong but that is another topic unto itself. Once they get accepted by the BAR, they swear an oath as an officer of the court, one big brotherhood. But what I get a kick out of is when a judge tries to insinuate that one would be practicing law without a license. What license? How can a private union issue a license? In some states you need a profession license that applies to many professions to practice your profession, but that is as close as it gets. |
