Europe Considers Wholesale Savings Confiscation, Enforced Redistribution Will it happen and are we next.... thanks in part to the failed ACA, the new "NO limit" debt ceiling, congress's spending habits, and the FEDs QE? Do we let them destroy our currency and economy to try and rebuild from the ashes? Who profits from either of these actions? It has been so since 1913. Only we have never been so bold as yet just to do it right out in the open in one fail swoop. For example, if you put away a lump sum of $50,000 dollars 50 years ago with an average of 2% inflation, you would only have $18,576.39 in today's dollar of purchasing power, a hidden tax of some 62.8% of your money.
