It's kind of difficult to be dignified when you're wearing a furry suit.

A Human talking about being dignified. Now that is funny. laugh

Look on Amazon.com. frustrated

Don't blow a gasket.

I think it's kinda' cool.

I think snuggling with my little MUFFy just might be fun.

But, for going out in public, I'd definitely don a super hero outfit.

I have one in spandex. It flatters all the bulges. (If ya' get mah drift.)

This here is my friends brother in his.

Pretty good, no? See what I mean about the spandex? He says the women go nuts over his.

Well go figure the one's that are insecure about themselves are the peeps that hate, on those of us who choose to show who we really are. Feel sorry for those who can only try to degrade other people to make themselves feel superior. I've dealt with it majority of my life, so why would I think in adulthood, life would be any different.

I have no clue as to where yer head is.

Who is degrading anyone?

What's all you've had to deal with?

Your profile says nothing. You have one picture and it's a dog suit. Is the zipper stuck and you can't get out?

Perhaps, if you enlightened us, as you call, HATERS, perhaps your mind will be set free.

BTW
I am making fun. Know what that is? Or, is everything just about you?

So, DUDE. What, who is the REAL you?

If I really felt the need to explain myself I would. But I don't as I don't care to know you or what the hell your deal is!

My deal has nothing to do with you.
I was commenting on style and kink.

You have no interest in those areas why you call us haters?

If that mongrel suit is anything like coveralls fart fumes ca get pretty concentrated, yes?

People judge others based on all kinds of things. Looks are something people judge others on a lot. So yes, there will be those who will always judge based on pictures.

Thinking about this thread and would like to add.

When I pick people, and what I am seeing about the people who seem to pick me, it is about the body language/smile and not so much the physical looks.

Yea I picked some pictures with clothes that were representative of me on a date or getting ready for a date but I also showed some of my interests and everyday clothes. So what you see is what you get.

I appreciate it when others do that because it does give you someplace to build a casual conversation from.

Now do I think that Scoober, or Willing, or Dodo would show up in costume? No, not really, but I think it is awesome that they are creative enough to use their imagination so they get plus for being particularly interesting.

When weather permits, I can be found around town in my bubba dukes, cutoff tee shirt and brogans.

Only the odd time. But most read my profile, because they mention stuff in my profile description, so that's how I know they read it.

I could never date anyone based solely on their pics. If I can't get a feel of who he is, then I see no point.

Same here. Of course, I'm intrigued by good-looking photos, but if we can't get on personality wise, it will never go anywhere.

Indeedy ;)

I like humor in a guy.

Yes I do think people judge you by your picture. I have a cartoon as my main picture but I also have one of myself on my profile. I have received emails saying I'm going to pass on you because your not brave enough to post a picture of yourself. I just smile and know that they didn't take time to read my profile which is the reason for the cartoon in the first place.I don't have movie star looks I know this, but even if I did I would want a woman to desire me because of the man I am not the one they perceive.

I just assume that any woman that wants a date with me finds me good looking but I don't count on that and I'm not going to get lucky unless they like my personality as well. I tried to make my profile description humourous and to get my personality across with it. Actually, I wrote that when I was a bit fed up with the whole thing and no longer trying to work out what's going to apeal to women, as if they are all the same and there's some kind of magic formula. I've had mixed reviews but I'm getting more interest than I was with cheesy "nice guy" profiles that I've tried.

I do actually dress this way but I was a bit reluctant to post photos of myself in leather strides because some women might think that says something about me that they don't like. I don't care about that anymore and I started wearing this outfit again when I felt comfortable about it. The whole thing is a snapshot that says how I'm feeling at a particular time in my life. Even if it hasn't worked out as far as a relationship goes yet, this profile has got me dates with women that I got on with and the way that I look at it, if they are going to be put off by that, I probably wouldn't get on too well with them anyway.

TawtStrat,

Had you been living on planet Melmac, then your clothing - as seen in your main image - would have been "in style".

In the Melmacian move Rebel Without A Clue, the main character wore leather as he rode a Hardly-Dangerous motorcycle.

Lest you think I'm joking, here is a photo of such a motorcycle:

Yeah but this isn't a biker jacket and where I come from, it's what some people call "dress leather". I've also got one of those full length leather overcoats, like Neo from The Matrix.

I've never really been one to follow fashion or to try to dress "age appropriately", or anything like that. Did start wearing the leather strides again when I dated a younger woman recently though and I'm the first one to make jokes about my midlife crisis. My style may be retro and I may be wearing the same clothes that I used to wear when I was younger but it's something that I went back to when I just stopped caring if people think that I'm too old to be dressing like this. Yeah, there is a bit about rebeling about it but it really is about just being comfortable dressing like this again and if the women like it, that's cool but if they don't, I'm not too bothered. I've gone down that road of trying to make myself look like what some women say that I should look like and I don't think that it really made much difference. I had plenty of women telling me that they liked what they saw when I had long hair and wore real biker leathers, even if I had other people treating me like I was some sort of a scumbag.
