“And God saw the light, that it was good:
and God divided the light from the
darkness” (Genesis 1:4).
No matter how dark a room may be, the
darkness will immediately and
automatically disappear when the light is
switched on! Light and darkness do not
mix. That is because God separated them
in Genesis 1:4.
Matthew 5:14 says, Ye are the light of
the world. A city that is set on an hill
cannot be hid.”
As a born-again child of God, it is
impossible for you to remain unnoticed in
the midst of this dark and unbelieving
world. Like the proverbial gold fish in a
bowl that has no hiding place, your inward
virtues, the Spirit of God in you, will
immediately and automatically expose
you within seconds of showing up in any
place or situation - because light and
darkness do not mix. That is because God
separated them in Genesis 1:4.
Matthew 5:16 says, “[This year] Let your
light so shine before men, that they may
see your good works, and glorify your
Father which is in heaven.”
You do not require extra effort to shine.
You are not responsible for being a light.
Jesus made you one!
Ye have not chosen me, but I have
chosen you, and ordained you, that ye
should go and bring forth fruit, and that
your fruit should remain: that whatsoever
ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he
may give it you. (John 15:16)
The sweetest thing about us is that the
darker the night, the brighter we shine as
the stars of Jesus! Isaiah 60:2 says, “For,
behold, the darkness shall cover the
earth, and gross darkness the people: but
the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his
glory shall be seen upon thee.”
The world has never been darker than it
is today. It is heartwarming to note that
Christians have never shone as brightly as
they do today!
