Oh, I think that the British girls that went with those American servicemen that were charming them by talking like film stars from Hollywood movies and giving them nylons were grateful.

We used to have an empire but we lost that after the war and Churchill bankrupted this country in the name of freedom. America only entered the war when it was attacked by the Japanese. Now it's America that has the empire and it does quite well by promoting its interests through economic and cultural imperialism.

And times were tough after the war because of the massive war debt that we had because America called in the loan that we got from it. America never does anything that isn't in its own interest. You lot would have been speaking German as well after Hitler had conquered Europe.

But now we're all speaking American and everything is "cool". You don't hear kids these days using the old Scottish slang that we used to use when I were a lad. There's going to be an independence referendum here soon. When I asked my dad what he thought about it he said, "United we stand. Divided we fall". A lot of people think that Scotland would just be swallowed up by the "united states of Europe" and that means Germany basically. They aren't going the military route these days though. It's just America that's doing that.

You can never escape the dodgy people in this day and age.

There will always be people out there ready to take advantage of others. A fake profile serves 2 purposes I believe. 1 is someone looking to play some sort of game on people and 2 it is someone looking to scam someone.

Of course the obvious goes without saying, someone on the net is spying on someone else.
