Hello community! I thought I'd share my poem which I wrote in the early modern (also called Shakespearean) English. Have fun and comment!

Whence camest thou?

Whence camest thou?
And whither shalt thou go?
Oh, whither shalt thou go?
Hast thou no cove?
Not a cove, not a foe?

Whence camest thou?
And whither shalt thou go?
When the sun riseth up?
Seest thou it go?
Seest it come, seest it go?

Whence camest thou?
And whither shalt thou go?
When the sun goeth down?
Seest thou the day ebb?
Seest it end, seest it ebb?

Whence camest thou?
And whither shalt thou go?
When thy foes move?
Come thy foes hither?
Go they whither, come they hither?

Whence camest thou?
And whither shalt thou go?
Oh, whither shalt thou go?
Knowest thou me, know I thee?
Know I thee, knowest thou me?

Whence camest thou?
And whither shalt thou go?
Oh, unto me shalt thou go.
Lovest thou me, since I love thee.
I but love thee, lovest thou me?

Thou art a rose,
Which but arose,
From times good and bad,
From times peaceful and mad,
To lift thyn eyes upon me.

I say unto thee,
Thou come with me,
Thou shalt be protecte', thou shalt be kept,
Thou shalt be support'd and thy tears swept,
Shalt thou comest with me?
