Don't mean to sound so cold here,Whitewolf, but when you work for someone, it's theirs, not yours, meaning that if an employer wants you gone, rest assured you'll be gone. Wal-Mart isn't the only one that treats it's employees with something less than respect. If anyone boycotts Wally World, where you gonna go? Target? K-Mart? JC Pennys? Kohls? If you think these guys don't do the same thing Wally World does, you're kidding yourselves.

Personally, I've known several Wal-Mart employees over the years, both management and non management. They all say that Wal-Mart is just as good a place to work as anywhere. If you feel you were wrongly fired, Whitewolf, the best advice I can give you is to go find a lawyer. A boycott does nothing, and I sincerely doubt you'd get enough people together to even begin to make a dent. I won't boycott. Hell, I practically keep my local Wal-Mart in business. They've always been good to me as a
customer, which is FAR more than I can say for the employees at Target and K-Mart.

they said they had proof but could not produce it for 1 and agian i don't work at wal-mart and i will not work retail agian i have found me a new job got hired sunday afternoon working in a cabinet shop and i make 2 times as much the n i did with wal-mart .so yes i believe everything happens for a reason and 2 my brother in law uncle works in the corp. office has but a request demanding the tapes and is fixing to suspend the lp guy along with the store manager and has offered me a job in arkansa but unfortanly i turned it down do to the fact that i'm not moving and lee scott ceo is or already gotten involved becouse of the law suit and some other aligations that was brought up agianst wal-mart like locking the floor crew in on christmas eve night from7 p- 7 a they will prove im inasent and justice will prevail it all ways does

justice don't always prevail but if you were wrongly accused i hope it works out for you.

random info... if they termed you... they have proof, and they do NOT under any curcumstances have to release that proof to you... thy will release it to the police or to the lawyers, but they do not have to show it to you... if you truly feel that you were wronged, call a lawyer, and take it to the courts, otherwise... STFU!!!!! i know FOR A FACT, that walmart as a whole has so many policies AGAINST wrongful termination that the likelyhood of it is SSSSOOOOOOOOO slim that is why i for one do NOT beleve you! but for benifit of the doubt, go to court, and stop whining!

izzy your right just becouse your a asstant manager for them so what you aint all ways right .wal-mart has policies but you just as well as i do and half the world if someone wants to fire some one they will find any reason ,right now sam walton is rolling over in his grave becouse of ppl who have destoed his company and ppl like you are letting them yes you might have a good and honest store manager but unfortantly some stores don't 10 yrs ago a co in pittsfield mass stole 250 thousand dollars from wal-mart so what does it prove .that all managers are diffrent and some are raciest and some are just out for money bonus checks and what ever else they can get .what happen to the pride ask many if not all in a room with out the managers and over head ppl in what they really think and at least 50 percent will tell you they hate it that why i'm a member of WAKE UP WAL-MART .COM AND A ANTI WAL-MART GROUP AND ALL WAYS WILL BE.so prance on back to your store for i hope wal-mart pays you enough to sell your soul becouse thats what you done

Good luck with the boycotting of Wal-Mart. I worked for them for 12 long years....was even in Management with them. If they want to get rid of somebody they will make up anything to get rid of you. They didn't fire me...I got tired of the crap and walked on my own. There really is life after Wal-mart

This is the wrong forum to be bashing Walmart. Do that on the Wake Up Walmart web site if you feel you need to. If Walmart wanted to just "fire" you, and trump up something,it would be much easier to base it on job performance, rather than a loss prevention issue. Job performance is much more subjective, whereas in a theft situation, there must be corroborating evidence.

Why is it Wal Mart is hated so much?
So they don't pay what YOU think they should.
So they fired you.
Big deal, if Wal Mart is such a ****hole to work for why work for them?
If you start a company are you going to do things your way or listen to those who do not have a dime in the company?

Ppl complain that Wal Mart kills the mainstreet and small buisnesses in towns they move into. So what? Maybe if those small buisness were able to compete and not be so overpriced they would survive.

Yes Wal Mart has dealings with countries that have cheaper labor costs,there costing them less when they buy from those countries. Yes, they are able to work deals to their advantage to allow them to sell for less.
If you wish to $10 for the same exact widget you could get at Wal Mart for $7, be my guest.
So shop there or not your choice.
But why is it that you feel you need to be anti Wal Mart or anti any big company.
Is it jealousy because they are successful?

ok white ty for the info now I will answer. If they have tapes, they have proof. Even if they didn't you work in a AT will state which means they can let you go at anytime for no reason at all. CT is the same way.
