Giant shark eaten by mystery 'sea monster'?

Scientists have identified a Great White Shark that was attacked and eaten by something much larger.

The otherwise healthy 2.7m-long shark was being tracked by researchers who were studying its movements when it experienced a sudden and dramatic temperature increase before inexplicably plummeting 580m in to the depths.

Four months later its electronic tag was found washed up on a beach in Australia around 4 kilometers from where it had disappeared.

The research team believes that the shark had been attacked by a much larger animal, an unidentified behemoth that could be something that has never been seen before.

You forgot to mention "Lips" who resides in Southern Lake Michigan. He's a VERY large old Carp. He was tagged and released into Lake Michigan when I was a kid for a fishing derby. He is still swimming the waters of Lake Michigan to this very day.

Theres always people who dont believe but theres always going to be things we cant explain. thats what cryptozoology is all about. the study of creatures thought not to exsist.

if we new every creature that exsisted then tell me why new species are being found daily?

Its not about money for some of us biggrin

A government 'truth commission' has declared that a lake monster in Iceland is a real creature.
The decision was based on a viral video from 2012 which many believe shows evidence of a long serpent-like creature said to inhabit Iceland's Lake Lagarfljt.

I always find it a little amusing that these types of videos are only 15seconds long
never really very clear, but yet we are suppose to determine it's real

These animals probably don't stay on the surface long, and people tend to shot average shots/photos. (nerves, shakes, climate conditions)

Ogopogo, some believe, has its roots in native Canadian Indian legends that told of a beast called N'ha-a-itk that would demand a live sacrifice from travelers for safe passage across Lake Okanagan. Hundreds of years ago, whenever Indians would venture into the lake, they brought chickens or other small animals to kill and drop into the water to assure a protected journey. It's clear, however, that these stories were not referring to a literal lake monster but instead to a legendary water spirit, and are not historical evidence for Ogopogo

Yeah, I don't go swimming very often at all in any of the lakes or flowages here with muskellunge. Only certain closed lakes from the flowages that do not have them in.

These would eat a chicken. They eat black birds when they walk on top of the lilly pads and pull the edges over to look for slugs and bugs. Ducks, geese...etc. Attacks on small children on shore, feet and fingers shredded...yeah, no thanks. Same for the Northern Pike and hybrid cross Tiger Musky of them.

New Loch Ness monster video:

Richard Collis, 58, spotted something strange in the water as he drove alongside the west shore of the loch - so he pulled over and took some video footage and photographs on his mobile phone.

A giant mystery sea creature is thought to have been spotted in the turquoise waters of one of New Zealand’s most idyllic bays.

A huge unexplained wake can be seen in a Google Earth image of Oke Bay, in the Bay of Islands, an area on the east coast of the Far North District of the country's North Island, captured by satellite at about 11.30am on January 30.

Engineer Pita Witehira, who spotted the wake while on Google Earth researching for his holiday home, told Daily Mail Australia the wake could have been left by a creature around 12 metres in size.

You wrote a very interesting topic, Sir. :)
I'm very curious about some sea monsters above, so I'll read all about this articles, just to lessen my curiousity. :p
