what are yall achievements and struggles in being self employed?
Depends what field you're in? I'm self-employed and in construction. It was hard at 1st breaking out and getting myself started and known to people, as there's a lot of competition in the business that i'm in. Things are paying off now though. I employ 8 people and will be taking a couple more on shortly. My advice is-believe in yourself, know your strengths, weaknesses and your competitions also. Remember that it's a learning curve, so don't be afraid to ask for advice at times and listen to what people have to say? You might not agree with it, but it will help you in the long run. Work hard and treat people the way you'd expect to be treated yourself? This ethic has stood me in good stead and got me a lot of work also. Also make your workplace a happy place?
