If you were to take me out.... what would you do to make it creative so I would want to go out with you again. No movie and dinner! No bowling..... etc.... make it creative! smiles....

Maybe you should give an example of what you consider creative and it will be less intimidating.

how about a day of hiking or canoeing, some kind of event that you both enjoy or a trip to a casino.

Example..... hmmmmm tell the guy to meet me somewhere and when he gets there ..... there is a note.... and he has to follow the different clues ....kinda like a treasure hunt.... and in the end... there would be ME and a picnic!!!!

I think I would prefer the hiking or canoeing more than a mystery date.

Hmm.. let me think, First I would take you to park [if you were in RI right now] to the Carnival thats going on, followed by a walk in the park, then to the bay where we can watch the sun set. That creative enough?

The best date I ever had was pooling our 3 dollars for a coffee to share, and cruising around opportunity/thrift shops.

We played dress ups, 1920's gangsters...we were a bride and groom...we did the 70's disco thing...and then we found a charity warehouse!!! whoohoo!! we both ended up at a piano each, that were standing back to back, and played chopsticks and walting matilda, and danny boy, and some crazy tunes...and laughed...and laughed and danced and had a ball

total cost of date...$3.00.

You know what??? it isnt hard...just let the inner child out, and stop stressing about impressing...

He is still one of my closest friends in the world, and yes, we ended up partners for a couple of years...

He showed me him...no frills, no dazzle with bling, and money and cars and crap...just good old fashioned fun!

Another date...same guy...invited to his place for coffee one night...

he lived on acreage...I arrived at his..to find gardne candles lit in a path leading into the bushland...intrigued I followed...

he had set up a mosquito net from a tree, and had pillows and cushions and a ring of garden candles around the outside...

we had coffee in our 'Bedouin tent'...played guitars, sand, talked bout life the universe and everything...and again laughed like their was no tomorrow.

we even had a waltz under the stars, that ended in a pillow fight..

Total cost of date..$0.00

Priceless.
