Mystical Garden
You're the utmost intruder in my Mystical Garden, Tho I do stumble to humbly bow to thee, I cast forth across this vast, radiant mind of mine, A triple's worth of merriment and glee. For long are the shadows in my window's glare, As I sit here in bowed silence - and stare. It's time I spilled the wine here in my Mystical Garden. Where only the shadow is cast, I stumble my words, Spilling them across this absurd parchment. Gray and unfolding, mystical wordplay blinds me in Darkness, lost in the yellow, soft moonglow of candlelight, Here in my half naked, half lit cottage. It's time, my friends. This is the time to pour the wine, Here in my Mystical Garden. It's time I spilled the wine. Cottage thatch rustling, I can hear it now as The outdoor air dampens early evening. As I sit here I sip and stare out my window. My 'Poet's Desk' is of old, scattered, torn paper. My ink Block - half empty. It's time I spilled the wine, here in My Mystical Garden. thom carlisle / Irish tommy moran / Ireland, 2014 === |

Old - and Teasing, thank you so much. I am warmed. And yes, though I no longer partake in the art of liquid merriment I DO appreciate those that do. I love being among drinkers as long as they can abide by general overall safety factors.
In my past, during my 'seal-pup' years, my mother operated/managed a lounge and sold whiskey at the bar. She worked for and was protected by an Italian family. An Irish American mom working for the Italians back over there in the states. Go figure. Anyway, she was wonderful. She exuded rare class. Was widely loved and respected in that small township. Mom was great! Anyway, I grew up in those surroundings and as such, held a unique understanding of the ups and downs drinkers commonly went through. That 'Jeckyll and Hyde' syndrome. Turns out people aren't half bad while drinking. I grew to like the daily clientele at her place. Always something going on in there. Everyone always having fun. Thanks again, both. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() tommy boy moran === |
