Advertising Age reports:

Kraft Foods Group is grappling with a Velveeta shortage just as the dip season kicks into full gear.

"Given the incredible popularity of Velveeta this time of year, it is possible consumers may not be able to find their favorite product on store shelves over the next couple of weeks," Kraft spokeswoman Jody Moore said in an email. "Our retail customers are aware of the situation and we expect it to be a short-term issue."

Now what cheese will people use to go with their whine?

Milk, water, milkfat, whey, milk protein concentrate, whey protein concentrate, sodium phosphate; contains less than 2% of: salt, calcium phosphate, lactic acid, sorbic acid as a preservative, sodium alginate, sodium citrate, enzymes, apocarotenal (color), annatto (color), and cheese culture.

The last thing on the list is something loosely related to cheese...

Limburger!laugh

smells somewhat like used athletic Socks that haven't been washed for ten weeks!

Limburger is a cheese that originated during the 19th century in the historical Duchy of Limburg, which is now divided among modern-day Belgium, Germany, and Netherlands. The cheese is especially known for its pungent odor commonly compared to body odor.WIKI

If I could have remembered that one I probably would have named it.

My dad has talked about one from Norway that is rather smelly I think. As I recall he said they start with a large wheel of cheese that they wrap in cloth and bury it under manure. I don't know how long they do that for. But eventually they dig it out and cut away the cheese till you have a small wheel of cheese probably about the size of a fist or smaller and that is all that is kept.

Gamalost is the cheese my dad told me about. He says it has a strong smell to it. Looking at wiki it says that it translates to old cheese.
